Conscious Courage

Structure, Responsibility, Procedure, Measurement, acting through Logic, Setting Goals, all of this helps us to achieve objectives, undoubtedly, personally it has served me a lot. However, in these past three weeks of moving to another country and all that this change has entailed, the constant decision-making, the energy it has demanded, migrating again, today I confess to you that for me, changes are possible through courage. Yes, courage and lots of it!

That courage that drives you to make changes in patterns, change jobs, change countries, the courage that love demands of us to believe in that beautiful force, the courage that intuition demands of us to believe in the next steps we must take, the courage that demands of us to say no, the courage that demands of us to sit down and be honest with ourselves, the courage to keep changing our skin as snakes does, the courage to keep connecting with our wild nature, the courage that happiness demands of us.

Courage is one of my favourite meditations on the In the Name of Silence portal. Throughout this process, this has been the guided meditation that has accompanied me the most; it is profound and requires a lot of sincerity and discipline. What I am experiencing now used to appeared again and again in this meditation.

With Catalina, I have worked on conscious courage, where the congruence of being yourself is what leads you to discover this courage. But what does conscious courage demand of us?:

"Confronting the truth of ourselves, facing our deeply rooted fears, observing our behaviour and emotions from the past; in order to provoke a transformation in the path of action, leading to a radical change in our lives and allowing us to connect with our real selves, one that is very disconnected from duty."

Something very curious happened to me on my first day in Valencia, where I was with Lee, soaking up the sun in the town square. A girl approached us with this paper and a photo of us and said, "Valencia was founded by the Romans in 138 BC under the name of 'Valentia', land of the brave." And he said to me, "this must be a sign." The most curious thing is that neither the girl nor he knew how much this word has meant to me during this period and what I know it will mean in the coming months.

I remained silent and through sacred silence, I connected with the gratitude of this magic synchronicity spoken of by Deepak Chopra and also Michael Singer.

Today I write to you from my new space, from the land of the brave, according to Valencia's history. What brought me here was conscious courage, and a very intuitive Amazonia that had been searching for a place to root and be happy for a long time. I have explored real happiness since I arrived; it has been very curious, and I am not afraid to say it.

It was not a job, a man, no an absolute and calculated plan, but an internal fire that helped me burn the old, what I no longer needed, an internal fire that has transformed and shaped me.

That fire that the protagonist of the movie from Pixar "Elemental" always had, where with her own fire she made art and where she fought throughout the movie to find her home and that place that would allow her to be herself.

I recommend this movie to everyone going through processes of transformation and absolute sincerity or for those who doubt that two opposing people cannot be together.I remember crying and feeling completely reflected in the protagonist, in what she had to let go of, in those people who appear as bridges to make you see that there is something more and help you to see what you can not see by your own, people that help you to see your talents.

Today my new writings begin from Spain, where I am connecting with happiness, where I plan to explore new cycling routes, where I will continue my women's circle and where I will leave new fruits, where I want to put down roots if that is the life plan for me!

I am so grateful for the education that England gave me, for the multiple opportunities that helped me evolve, and today I understand that there are efforts, stages, battles, and things that we have to experience! So if you are there, cheer up, remember what is guiding you and help yourself in the process with those things that are good for you.

I'm scared but I decide not to carry the fear anymore. I connect with the joy I feel, start building community. I recently read something:

"There is a reason we are drawn to gazing at the ocean. It is said the ocean provides a closer reflection of who we are than any mirror.

Thank you for reading, share your comments, I love reading them.
